For Church Planters
Ok, you've heard the call to plant a new church. You've prayed about it and wrestled with the Holy Spirit. You've talked to your family, gathered a few people around you, to start planning, and then you realize we're really going to do this thing. Now what do I do?
There are a lot of places a church planter can go to learn HOW to plant a new church...and quite frankly, there's a lot of great know how available. If your questions center on learning how, great. That's actually a pretty easy road to head down.
But what if it's actually a different question...what if a better leadership question is WHO do I have to become to plant a church? What if church planting effectiveness builds on a different set of leadership questions that focus on who the planter becomes as a disciple and as a leader?
Leadership like this starts with discipleship...taking the example from Paul in 1 Corinthians: "Imitate me, as I imitate Christ..." How's your soul? Who's journeying with you and sharing the path? A little further down the road comes leadership...learning and applying specific skills for making an impact in God's kingdom.
So, ready to get started? Think about a coach to help you lay out the journey. Or maybe you need a chance to explore specific leadership competencies? Or maybe you just want to have a follow up conversation. Whichever road you're on, we'd like to help. Give us a call at 1.888.728.4329 or drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
