Continuous Multiplication: Culture
At CoachNet, we consider ourselves a multiplication organization. Everything we do is measured in terms of multiplication. We're in it for the long haul, and want to journey with you until all the behaviors of the Leadership Multiplication Pathway happen naturally in your leadership, church or organization. Building in opportunities to pass on the things that God has given us is a part of our culture.
If you have truly tapped into the rewards of effective leadership, you cannot in good conscience keep it to yourself. You cannot use those tremendous capabilities only to enrich your own groups, teams, churches, and movements. It's got to spread beyond your own influence. That's where the multiplication component really takes off. Consider this from the book of Luke:
“And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." ' "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?' "This is how it will be with those who store up things for themselves but are not rich toward God." (Luke 12:19-21)
This is not what we believe God has called leaders to be about. Let's make a final mindset shift in the last phase of the Leadership Multiplication Pathway. This last shift builds on everything that has been accomplished in the first three phases.
Imagine this: If God blessed your ministry with more leadership and more resources than you could possibly use, who could you bless? What other ministries could you help? Where could you provide training, support, coaching, or leadership for new initiatives? In short, how could you be generous? How could you invest?
Being committed to a mindset of generosity first lays the foundation for continuous multiplication...and to really be as available to God as possible, we have to look for opportunities to multiply (and being able to see those opportunities is a direct outcome of the Obedient Discipleship phase!). In the Continuous Multiplication part of the pathway, we seek out every opportunity to give away what we've been given and to intentionally and strategically launch coaching and multiplication cultures in as many areas as possible. We do the things we can and rely on God to do the things that only God can do. This is the combination of discipleship and leadership, and the culmination of the Leadership Multiplication Pathway.
